- Q: Do magnets really work?
- A: Magnets are used worldwide for their healing properties. The Egyptians including Cleopatra, the Chinese and Ancient Greeks have used magnets for their life enhancing properties for centuries. - Q: Is magnetic therapy safe?
- A: Yes, magnetic therapy is non-harmful and non-invasive. However our products should not be worn by pacemaker users, or users of any implanted electrical-medical devices. We also recommend they should not be worn during pregnancy.
- Q: What is Gauss or Tesla?
- A: Gauss is a unit of magnetic strength. The greater the gauss value, the greater the magnetic field extends from the magnet. Tesla is another unit of magnetic strength whereby 1 Tesla = 10,000 Gauss. The gauss value in all of our products are strong enough for their applications.
- Q: How long do the magnets last?
- A: The magnets used in our products retain their strength indefinitely.
- Q: How long until I feel some benefit from magnet therapy?
- A: It varies for each individual. Some of our customers have reported that they have experienced benefit within 24 hours; others have noticed a difference within a few days or weeks. A benefit should however occur within 30 days.
- Q: Which product should I choose?
- A: There are three types of application
- (i) Local- where the magnetic product is worn directly over the problem area e.g magnetic knee support. (ii) Generic- magnetic bracelets, the magnets are worn around the pulse and arteries at the wrist creating a magnetic field around the body. (iii) Combination of local and generic application which Magna-Health recommends to be the best overall solution.
- Q: Should the Magna- Health Magnetic Jewellery be worn all the time?
- A: For maximum benefit, the magnetic jewellery should be worn at all times, even when sleeping or taking a shower or a bath. However they should be removed in chlorinated pools as this can cause the plating to tarnish
- Q: Which wrist should the magnetic bracelets be worn on?
- A: The magnetic bracelets may be worn on either wrist though preferably not on the same wrist as your watch as the magnets may affect its timekeeping.
- Q: How long should the Magna-Health Therapy Range be worn for?
- A: Initially wear up to 12 hours daily until relief is obtained: thereafter use as and when required.
- Q: Does wearing a magnetic collar affect my pets’ microchip?
- A: No. Animal microchips are hardcoded, meaning they are not affected by our magnets. It is advisable to remove the collar however prior to scanning as the equipment may produce a false reading.
- Q: Can wearing magnets affect your credit cards or computers?
- A: Wearing our Magna-Health products will not affect your computer. The magnetic strip on your credit card may be affected if a magnet were placed directly over it.
